And that's what I did last night!
After getting off the train, I noted that the roads were quite slick. As a result, I decided that a tempo run on the treadmill (aka dreadmill) was going to have to do.
When I got to the gym, I got changed and headed upstairs. I secured the first available dreadmill within five minutes and was on my way from that point on. The gym decided to further limit the time on it to 33 minutes, including the cooldown. No problem here... that was going to be my limit anyway.
The total distance covered was 3.52 miles with a maximum speed of 7.0 miles per hour. The core speed was set at 6.5 miles per hour with the speed being ramped up in the last seven minutes. I even did the run non-stop.
After the run, I concluded with some stretching before heading back home.
