The snow was falling lightly outside but the roads were in decent condition. However, I did not run outside. I decided to focus on strength training to give the running legs a break from the previous night's tempo run.
After arriving at the gym, I quickly changed and went up to the conditioning room. I started off with an 18 minute warmup on the elliptical. When that was done, I hit the weights and performed the following WOD, courtesy of Element Crossfit:
Lorene's friend, Paul, showed up just in time for the end of Lorene's shift. Since I was wrapping up my workout, they invited me to join them at the pub around the corner for a light snack and to listen to some live jazz music before heading home. I took them up on the offer and we hung out there for close to an hour before heading off.

Hang Power CleanThe overall weight for the Hang Power Clean was 55lbs. For the Pendlay Rows, it was 65lbs. I am definitely feeling it today, that's for sure...
