Thanks to Kinndli's influence, I have really been immersed in a power vinyasa yoga practise. Ashtanga Yoga is one style that I enjoy doing, as well as Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga - which is based on Ashtanga Yoga. Baron Baptiste runs a series of bootcamps each year in different spots around the world. Some delve into personal revolution and some are teacher training bootcamps, which are also very insightful. Badwater Ultramarathon has always inspired me. Running 135M through the desert, and up mountain passes along the road is no picnic for the average person but for those who are lucky to participate, crew, and volunteer, the excitement is quite contageous. Every year, during the event, my computer is locked onto the webcast, constantly checking for results, photos, and media content. This year, there will be a strong Canadian presence there. I will post more on this later once the roster has been posted on the Badwater Ultramarathon site. After watching this video, I am now looking forward to the 2009 version...
