The RONA MS Bike Tours Booth

One of the Wilderness Adventure Sled Dogs (I doubt he works because everyone was petting him and he was overly enjoying it)

Somehow the State of Ohio finds a way to make an appearance (along with Virginia, Florida, and New York)... I even spoke to one of the guys running the booth and he mountain bikes at Mohican (although he hasn't done the MTB 100). He and his friend were cycling there one time during the Mohican 100 race... How amazing is that?!

This musician was a fixture in the Ontario Travel Pavillion. Notice the little girl wanting a piece of the action... I must also say that the smoked trout from Lake Superior that they were sampling was quite tasty and filling.
The indoor scuba diving tank used for demos...
The indoor kayaking pool. Lesson learned from this demo - "Boats don't tip people. People tip boats..." Reminds me of the good ol' days when I was a rower...
Check out this new way to camp. Absolutely amazing! I love it! The Hennessy Hammock comes second to this bad boy! This tent comes from Base Camp Tents Inc. The sales person, Michael Joyce, distributes this tent which has origins in Africa for safari expeditions, and is popular in Europe. The price may be out of my league for now, but I will definitely consider investing in this. I have been given assurance that this will work with my Honda Civic. As per Michael's request, I will be adding his contact information to the sidebar soon (no financial interest by doing so)...

Here I am climbing the ladder...
Wow, this is so comfy! Now this is a unique way to camp. Judging from what I have observed, two adults should be able to fit in it comfortably.

I was also able to score some good deals on items such as rice milk, and smoothie drinks from Arthurs. I also sampled quite a bit of food. I was eyeing a portable acupuncture machine that allows you to self-administer treatment by applying pulses to the appropriate pressure points, depending on what you are treating at the time. Maybe in time I will invest in this machine. I had low back pain earlier from standing all day. Before I left the show, I went back to the booth to try it out and my back felt relaxed afterwards. Overall, the show was well attended. At the RONA MS Bike Tours booth, we did manage to get quite a few people signed up for some summer fun.
After I walked around the show, I went to the gym and suited up to go for a run. When I got out there, I found that the wind picked up quite a bit. My planned 20K run got cut down to 12K because of the condition of the bike path, as well as the wind. The path was not plowed by the city and it was taking awhile to get through the snowpacked path. I was also losing daylight so I was forced to leave the path at Sandalwood Parkway and make my way back to the gym from that point on. Total time of the run was close to 1.5 hours. Upon returning to the gym, I did some weights. I did quite a bit of lower-body weights with a little bit of upper body included. I did this for about an hour before getting ready to head home.
