It goes something like this - We all need to celebrate something in our lives. The problem is we rarely do.
This point really spoke to me last night as a bunch of us had our weekly meeting at Power Yoga Canada - Oakville for the "Your Life Design" workshop. Kelly and Jenn really made a point of reminding us that we can be so caught up in wanting to do things to achieve our goals that we forget to actually appreciate and celebrate accomplishments. In my eyes, when we celebrate accomplishments, it is a form of gratitude.
From this day forth, I am going to make it a point to get out there and celebrate every little accomplishment that I make in my journey. As I look back on what has happened in the last few months, I really do have a cause to celebrate. I have accomplished more than I believed I could a year ago. I have overcome a lot of hurdles that I chose to take myself out with. I credit the love and belief of some of my closest friends who have chosen me and supported me as I am.
Moving forward... Time to celebrate new goals that I have set for myself. As these goals get firmed up, I shall happily share.
Celebrate... NOW!
