Yes... Today is a rest day... After going through a punishing 40-plus mile weekend, and trying to loosen up with a pool run last night, I do need to take advantage of this day of rest.
I am not so bad today but I will say that I have been feeling it, especially in the legs. When I resume my workouts tomorrow, I will play it by ear and try to find a couple CrossFit routines to work with. No running will be done outdoors unless the temperatures warm up and there is no bitter windchill to go with it. I am hoping the weather will be good for this weekend's training runs as I am planning to run at least 50K on Sunday.
Right now, I am catching up on laundry and other domestic chores in preparation for another day...
