Today was the day that the roster was posted on the Badwater Ultramarathon site. I was proud to learn that of all the Canadians chosen to run this race, all of them hail from the Province of Ontario.
The Canadian entrants are as follows:
- Iris Cooper - Rookie
- Geoff Linton - Rookie
- Robert Lebrun - Rookie
- Monica Scholz - Veteran (by a long shot)
The 135M race in Death Valley, CA - from the lowest point in North America to the Whitney Portals in Lone Pine, CA - is scheduled to take place July 13-15, 2009.
Good Luck to all those who have been invited and enjoy the heat training!
