Monday - Lorene bailed on me for the pool run due to the fact that her friend was celebrating her 50th birthday that night. This gave me a chance to take in two yoga classes that evening. I was craving to flow Baptiste Power Vinyasa style and decided to "go with the flow". In total, I did two and a half hours of yoga that night and was really feeling it.
Tuesday - Decided to go for a short 12K run in the evening. After checking in with Lorene, I headed up the park path until the sun had set and I was forced to get off and use the roads to get back. I was contemplating about the magic of the twilight period. No... it was not because the girls at Kula Yoga are all starry eyed over the Twilight series. I was in for a special treat during my run - there were four young deer wandering in the park. They were all in a pack and they looked absolutely endearing. I tried to get a photo of them without getting too close with my phone but I did not have too much luck with that. Lorene tried to get me to join her and her friends at a pub in honour of St. Patrick's day but I passed on the invite.
Wednesday - I did a Crossfit routine at the gym. It was as follows:
Thursday - Ashtanga yoga and meditation... I am proud to say that I was able to sit in meditation a little more comfortably this time around. My legs did have the usual feeling of pins and needles but just as I changed positions, the alarm went off. By the way, did I mention that my abs have been absolutely worked this week with all the yoga and core work so far?
Friday - No workouts but this day was closed out on a very sour note. An incident took place that really capped off the rocky week I was having. I really do not want to get into the details but my emotions were stripped raw and I was really feeling it personally. It also threatened to take me out of my gameplan and bury me...
