Just a quick post to say... I'm off to the Forest! It's really going to be an exciting weekend! I'll be communing with the beavers, the chipmunks, the night owl, the wolves, and (hopefully not) the bears. I just hope the weather holds up. Helen has been up there with the crew making sure that the trails are all ready for us. Thanks to Gary's heads up, it looks like I will have to empty the entire sock drawer into my bag - thanks to the beavers on the Krista Trail :)

Here is the best part. My friends - John Fortin and Lorene Hatelt will be racing in separate triathlons this weekend as well. John is racing his first Ironman in Wisconsin and Lorene will be taking part in the Triathlon Worlds in Budapest, Hungary. Both have great blogs documenting their experiences. We shall wish each other luck and race vicariously through each other.
