Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States of America. I am very fortunate and grateful to have a lot of family and friends who live there.
Today, I would like to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving and let them know that I am very grateful for their presence in my life. Each of these people have had an impact on who I am, and what I can be. We share common traits, while we also have differences. We all communicate, and think about each other when we are not actively communicating. When we get together, we have a lot of fun together while trying to catch up on what has been going on with each of us since our last meeting. When the meeting comes to an end, we each take home lasting memories that we share...
Thanksgiving Day - whether it's in October or November - is not the only day that we have to give thanks. The expression of gratitude should be practised on a daily basis. It has taken me awhile to learn this but now that I have learned this, I am finding ways to express this gratitude in my everyday life. Whether you do it on a personal scale, or actively express it through activities such as volunteering or any other means, the expression of gratitude has its rewards...
I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and I thank you once again for allowing me into your lives.
Om Shanti Om... Peace... Namaste...
