Well... Here I am! I have decided to give blogging another chance. I previously had another blogging page and made a vow to keep up with it but things did not happen that way. I found myself forever trying to play catch up and it was getting to me. I knew journalling was important to me, I just did not have the discipline to keep up with it....
I started getting the inspiration to blog again in the recent months. My dear friend, Mike Keller, played a huge part in this. His blog, Fit From Fat, provided me with inspiration. He had attempted to encourage me when I started my blog but in the end it was up to me to either continue, or pull the plug. I took the easy way out and pulled it. He never judged me or made me feel guilty in anyway. He knew my heart was not into it at the time. Lorene, a staff member at the YMCA and a National Level Triathlon coach nudged me on maintaining a blog, indicating that a blog could be beneficial to me in the long run, especially with all the things I like to do. She mentioned this while we were pool running one evening. So... during my daily commutes, and life in general, I started coming up with ideas for blogging. In the end, I decided to start fresh and not continue on from the old blog. Where it is relevant, I can always link back to individual posts.
So now that I am starting over, I shall strive to blog regularly, and not fall into last year's trap of falling behind and playing catch up. The blog shall not feel like school work with deadlines. It shall be a tool to live in the present moment, allowing myself the freedom to reflect in anyway I choose.
Let it begin!
